This is a listing of resources you should check to help you with travel, planning, and preparing before going into the wilderness. Activity specific links are under the "Locals Only Area" section to the left.

Information Links

Penrose Library- The Alpine Club over the years has invested in outdoor guides and books for the DU library on campus. Want to check out someplace new, check the library as there is most likely a book set there.

Travel Links

COTrip.org- A must if you plan on ever going into the mountians. The single most comprehensive updates on all the roads in Colorado, they are by far the most accurate weather predictors. You can even get real-time camera views of many spots all over the state.

TopoZone.com- A pretty good site for you to print out Topo maps of the places you are going.

Colorado State Parks- The State's offical website for all of Colorado's State Parks.

Avalanche Safety- Check the Latest Snow Conditions and Avalanche Danger across the state. The main page for the Colorado Avalanche Information Center.

OutdoorED.com- Another good resource for outdoor education.
