Ski and Snowboard Trips
The Unique Resorts around Colorado
This Club was originally the Ski Club, and we have yet to lose those roots.
Each winter we do numerous ski and snowboard trips, and we go to the coolest resorts in Colorado. We take you to fresh powder beyond that of what summit county can offer.
The Ellington Fund provides for the beginner ski and snowboard trip, where brand new skiers/riders get rentals, lift tickets, and transportation for a really low price.
We also go to many resorts that offer different terrain such as Crested Butte, Telluride, and Durango Mountain Resort.
We provide guided backcountry skiing options with the Silverton resort.
What about Beginners?
If you have never skied or snowboarded before we are now offering a extremely low-priced trip that includes rentals, lesson, and transportation. This trip usually happens the first or second weekend in Winter Quarter and is funded through the Katheryne Ellington Fund.
What Happens on the Trip?
We usually take pretty good sized groups and stay at either a house or hotel rooms. Group size can vary from 14 at Silverton to over 45 at Steamboat. We ski hard all day and have lots of fun at night.
We provide you with lift tickets, housing and transportation, you provide yourself food and any equipment you would need.
Favorite Spots
We usually stay out of Summit County because of it's close proximity to DU, so instead catch us at Crested Butte which claims to some of the most extreme terrain around, Telluride which always seems completely void of people or Steamboat which is just beautiful. |
