Professionally Guided

Training that you can actually afford

Professional guided trips tend to be some of the most exciting and rewarding experiences that you can receive.

Several trips each year we hire out to outdoor professionals to teach and lead us. Such trips have been are: multipitch trad climbing in Eldorado Canyon, backcountry skiing in Silverton, wilderness first aid training by NOLS, ice-climbing in Ouray, avalanche training courses, caving trips in Glenwood Canyon and rafting trips.

These trips are great because we make them super-affordable for you and we do some crazy things. Also we are always looking to expand these to include more adventures.

What Happens on the Trip?

Since these trips are a little more different than our other trips you basically just need your season appropriate clothing as the Alpine Club and the guides usually provide everything else.

These trips take you beyond that of what we can normally do and because of that they are just amazing. We offer them at the lowest price we can and we make sure that you come back with some great memories.

Favorite Spots and Guides

We have done a great deal of trips with the Colorado Mountain School, doing things such as "Intro to Rock Climbing", "Beginning Trad Climbing and Multipitch", and "Avalanche 1 Certification".

Southwest Adventures has been the ones to lead us on our ice-climbing expeditions in Ouray, and have some of the best guides around.

NOLS (National Outdoor Leadership School) has been the main people behind our "Wilderness First Aid" certification courses and provide the best hands on training around.

Caving and rafting trips have also been pasttime favorites of DUAC. Glenwood Canyon has some great caving areas while the Arkansas river will cure that whitewater craving of yours.
