We are offering this trip at a HUGE discount, come take advantage and learn how to stay safe for only $100! Perfect for anyone interested in becoming a DUAC officer and/or working in the outdoors! Class will be on-campus on November 13th-15th. $100 Members/$130 non-members

We are still planning to have representatives and gear from Sunlight Ski & Bike, Flylow Jackets, Division West, SickStickz, and others! Ski/Board wax & edge jobs for only $15! The Weekly Hookup: BCA!

Come to the meeting on Wednesday, Nov. 4th at 8PM to get BCA product! We will hopefully be able to get the order in before break, so come this week to make sure you’re safe before heading out to the BC this season!

The DU Alpine Club will be hosting the 2nd Annual GEAR SWAP on Wednesday, Oct. 28th, from 6-10pm in Driscoll Underground.

Fall is not over yet!  Come on the final camping trip until Spring with a trip down to Shelf Road for some late season climbing and some of the best views in the State!  Spots still available!  If you are signed-up already, you MUST ATTEND THIS MEETING.  If you are signed up and cannot go, come to the meeting to sell your spot.  We cannot give refunds, so this is the only way to get your money back.  We will be climbing at Shelf Road in southern Colorado from October 23rd-25th. $35 for members/$45 non-members

This Thursday, October 15th, the Alpine Club will be bring ing a busload of students to Teton Gravity Research’s new Ski & Snowboard Film, re:Session! With the likes of Seth Morrison, Sage Cattabrisa-Alosa, Tanner Hall, Jeremy Jones, and Eric Roner (to name a few), this will be the best show of the year!  Tickets available at our Wednesday night meeting, $10 each.

With all these cold temperatures lately, wouldn’t a desert oasis be nice? How about one with hikes to towering arches, beautiful sandstone climbing, and some of the best mountain biking in the world? There is a reason this trip is known to be legendary. We will be in the Utah desert from October 16th through the 18th. BECAUSE OF HIGH DEMAND, YOU MUST BE AT THE MEETING WITH MONEY IN HAND, OR HAVE A PERSON REPRESENTING YOU WITH MONEY FOR YOU. Limited spots available. $50 for mem bers and $60 for non-members.

Are you signed up for this weekend’s trip to Independence Pass?  You MUST attend this week’s meeting so we can go over the weekend’s plans.  If you are signed up but cannot go, or if you are not signed up but want to go, come to the meeting!  Remember, the Alpine Club DOES NOT GIVE REFUNDS, so the only way to get your money back is to sell your spot!  And, right now, the only way you can go is if you buy a spot.  Come to the meeting to find out more.

Matchstick Productions’ premier of In Deep: The Skiing Experience was a huge hit with the Alpine Club!  Over 50 members came with us to the Gothic Theater, and the winner of the Saucer Boy Contest was none other than a member of the club himself!  And, on top of all that, we got a shout-out on the MSP Tour Blog!  Check out the post here, and if you came, see if you can spot yourself in the picture below!

Starting next week we’ll be selling tickets for Teton Gravity Research’s new film, “Re:Sessions”, on October 15th at the Gothic Theater! We’ll also be at Rage Film’s premier of “Pretty Good” in Davis Auditorium on Campus on Friday, October 6th, and we will be offering discounted tickets to Powderwhore’s new film, “Flakes,” on November 6th at the Oriental Theater.

Ever seen a ski movie created by Matchstick Productions?  This ain’t no Warren Miller; this is high-octane, pure skiing at its finest with the likes of Mark Abma, Simon Dumont, and the late Shane McConkey.

The Alpine Club will have tickets for $15 during our Wednesday night meeting at 8PM in Lind­say Auditorium and free MSP Stickers.
