• Winter Hiking and Camping still has a few spots open!! Squeak in before you miss out!! March1st-2nd, $45 for members, $65 non; rides, equipment and food provided for an amazing time on a very different trip.

• It’s that time again…time for a week of ripping up the slopes on Spring Break with the Alpine Club; Utah never sounded so good. A week of hanging out, riding, skiing and pretending you never even had classes cannot be topped! Rides, lift tickets and lodging in a sweet house provided; the beach sounds pretty lame now, doesn’t it??

• Officer Elections March 5th!!! If you’d like to be an officer, stop by this Wednesday’s meeting (February 27th) 8pm, Sturm 281 Bring your questions, enthusiasm and ideas! If you’d like to vote for your DUAC officers, stop by NEXT Wednesday’s meeting (same place, same time, you know the drill) and make your opinion count!

• And that’s all the more reason not to miss the last few trips with the DUAC this winter! What’s next???

• The Pre-Trip for Guided Backcountry Skiing in Silverton! If you have signed up and paid for this epic trip, do NOT miss this Wednesday’s meeting! You’ll get all the dirty details and get pumped for what will likely be your favorite weekend this Winter. Not guaranteed, but highly probable.

• Sign-ups for Winter Backpacking & Camping. A sweet change of pace to charging the slopes, grab your pack and get ready for a fun and challenging weekend in Rocky Mountain National Park, March 1st and 2nd. Experience not required, but can be useful.

• Aaand Jon Jay is still waxing and edging those beat up skis and boards. Get a sweet deal and give your money to a good cause; $10 for members, $15 for non members, all proceeds benefit the Kathryn Ellington Memorial Fund. You good-do-er, you!

• PS… sign ups for spring break in UTAH are coming up fast! Next Wednesday!!

 

• Ice Climbing Pre Trip this Wednesday!! Get the itinerary, find out what to pack and get pumped! There are also a few spots left for the trip!! Holy Crap!! Don’t miss this trip!! It’s Feb 8-10!! To get one of those last spots show up this Wednesday, 8pm with a good reason why we should take you along (just kidding).

• GUIDED BACKCOUNTRY SKIING AND RIDING IN SILVERTON!!! SIGN UPS THIS WEDNESDAY NIGHT. All levels are NOT suitable for this trip! You’re hiking and riding seriously tough terrain, make sure you can handle the heat (or lack of.) $200, guides, a ride and lodging provided.

• Cross Country Day Trip: A short and sweet change of pace, join the club on this rockin day trip! February 16, $20; a ride and lunch provided. Sign ups this Wednesday!
