Recovering from X Games???

  • Well, hurry up if you are– Ice Climbing in Durango is coming up fast! February 8-10! Sign ups are this wednesday don’t miss out!!! This trip is sure to be one hell of a time, so go ahead, take a break from tearin’ up the slopes and get stoked to strap on those crampons! $200 for members, $230 for non members. The ice is calling your name…

  • Riding a little slow??? Don’t forget about getting your skis and snowboards waxed and edged, courtesy of our club specialist, Jon Jay. $10 for members, $15 for non members and add $5 to that to guarantee being ready for the weekend! All proceeds go to the Kathryn Ellington Memorial Fund!
  • Photo Film Contest: you’ve found untouched powder…the perfect line…the best view: take a picture, turn in it and see if you win our Annual Photo Film Contest…$2 to enter, all proceeds go to the Kathryn Ellington Memorial Fund and you can win some sweet shwag. Entries will be due in the spring- make sure you’re using that lens all winter long.

  • Jackson’s all filled up!! For those of you that made it onto the Jackson Hole Trip this weekend- don’t forget to come to the pre-trip this Wednesday!! And for those of you that didn’t (poor things, but don’t worry) you can still come along on all of our other rockin trips (like X GAMES and Cross Country Skiing)
  • You can now get your skis waxed and edged at our Wednesday night meetings! $10 for members, $15 for non, add $5 to rush your order. All proceeds benefit the Kathryn Ellington Memorial Fund, so don’t skip a good cause or miss an awesome deal
  • New Trip! February 21, join us for a one night moon-lit snowshoe trip…this is an incredible experience and a nice break from campus, don’t miss out!!

The Winter Trip List Is Out And The First Meeting Of The Year Is On!

The first meeting of the year is this Wednesday, January 9th, 8pm Sturm 281. Sign up for our first two trips, learn about all the rest of them and become a member if you aren’t one already (get with it. really.) This Winter is going to be out of control, make sure these cold months are memorable and start “doin it in the mountains”.

January 12th: Beginner Ski/Ride Trip


January 18-21st: Three day Jackson Hole Weekend

January 25-27th: X Games in Aspen


February 8-10th: Ice Climbing in Durango

February 16th: Cross Country Day Trip

February 23-24th: Back Country Skiing in Silverton

March 1-2nd: Winter Camping

Spring Break (March 15-23rd): Spring Break in UTAH!!!
