Saturday, November 10th, we’ll be taking a crew to the climbing gym, Rock’n and Jam’n South, for a fun time of belaying, climbing and hiding from finals. From 4:30 to 8:30 pm, you can take up climbing for the very first time or keep working on your technique, while getting to know all the crazy climbers of DU. Transportation and a snack provided.

It’s $10 to come along, including entry fee!!

Sign ups this Wednesday in Sturm 281, 8:00pm.

Lost and Found this Saturday!! Get inspired and get pumped for the ski season!

Tickets are $10 for members, $15 for non members and you get a free bus ride to the Ogden. Buy them Wednesday night at 8pm in Lindsay Auditorium from the officers.

Kathryn Ellington Raffle tickets are on sale now. Win all sorts of amazing gear and support a cause that prevents injuries on the slopes! Tickets are $5 and can be bought during Wednesday night meetings or from the officers.

It’s because we love you…well, we think you’re ok, anyway. So here’s all the new hook ups, fresh out of the oven…

• Get hooked up and give back (you are SUCH a multi-tasker!) The Kathryn Ellington Memorial Fund Raffel is ON NOW. Buy tickets for $5 and help minimize accidents on the slopes. Your ticket will enter you into a drawing to win a pair of skiis from Solomon, a spankin’ new pack with an avy shovel and oh, so much more (Wilderness Exchange giftcards, anyone?) Pick up your raffel ticket from our officers and at our table from now until the 13th. 

 

• Aaaand because we are SO dedicated to you guys, we’ve added a new trip to our Fall Line-Up. Catch the fall colors and get some fresh air on a day hike in Lost Creek right before the cold weather sets in.  No nudie pictures this trip (Jake!), but we can still basically guarantee this hike to be a good time. • Teton Gravity Research’s New Film Lost & Found. Need to get pumped for the season? Need to find your inspiration? Feast your eyes on the Premiere of TGR’s badass new film Lost and Found, October 13th, 8pm at the Ogden. The DU Alpine Club will be selling tickets to members for $10, and tickets to non members for $15.  If you caught Seven Sunny Days, you know these films are rockin, and you do not want to miss this one.
